BEYOND THE SHIRT

FRAMES is a project dedicated to the 13PIÙ men’s shirts and Glue women’s shirts that combines material research and visual storytelling. Launched in 1997 as the first padded shirt, the 13PIÙ has redefined its essence through functionality and material research, becoming over time one of the brand’s most iconic and innovative garments.
Today, FRAMES continues this evolution, reinterpreting both models through new materials and a visual language that breaks away from traditional product presentation. It is a project that takes the shirt as its starting point to explore materials, images, and everyday culture, connecting the product to people, places, objects, and gestures.

MATERIAL RESEARCH

FRAMES features 12 models—six for men and six for women—crafted from seven different fabrics. Alongside the nylon version—ASPESI’s signature material—the collection introduces a double-faced wool with a Beaver finish, 14-ounce organic cotton twill denim, Loro Piana Storm System® merino wool, “wash & wear” technical flannel, stone-washed black denim made from partially recycled cotton, and polyester taffeta. This design exploration expands the range of silhouettes without altering their essence.

CRISTINA STOLHE: INTIMATE GLIMPSES

Capturing moments of everyday life through a photo essay by Cristina Stolhe, a Galician photographer whose work stands out for its intimate and voyeuristic perspective. The project constructs a visual diary in fragments, in which shirts are not depicted as isolated elements but interact with details, objects, materials, spaces, and moments of everyday life. Each image becomes a frame, a vantage point within a spontaneous and open narrative.
