SILENCE T-Shirt

SILENCE. It is a pivotal expression of Aspesi's philosophy born by chance in 1999, from the friendship between Alberto Aspesi and Robert Frank (1924-2019 Swiss artist naturalised American, photographer and film maker, exponent of the beat generation and considered one of the founding fathers of New American cinema). Following a conversation in which Robert expressed his admiration for this Italian word, its sound and meaning, Alberto had a t-shirt made to give to his friend. That day, an icon was born that powerfully expressed Aspesi's discreet charm.

Born in 1997, “La 13” is the first Aspesi technical shirt in soft polyamide and light thermal padding, which aims to cover a mix of functions. Seasonless and timeless, it breaks the conventional and category rules: is it a jacket? A shirt? A padded technical garment? How do I wear it? It quickly became one of the brand's most successful garments, embodying the essence of the Aspesi style. Initially created without pockets, it is now called 13+.

Waterproof Vodka

One of the longest-lived evolutions of the classic ‘balmacaan’ (overcoat), it is a garment developed and proposed in different versions, with various materials and styles over the years, taking on different names depending on the versions and generations (#lonzo, #perfect, #virtuoso, #granprain).

Jil Vest

Originally introduced in 1997 and revisited in 2003, the Gilet Jil has become an emblematic piece in the brand's history. Inspired by Canadian outdoor clothing, it is made of super-lightweight nylon with Thermore padding, offering a perfect balance between lightweight warmth and durability. Its versatility quickly made it a best seller, ideal for both urban and outdoor environments, combining the spirit of adventure and functionality with a sleek, contemporary aesthetic.

Piuma Vest

It was created in 1992 and immediately became a distinctive element for the Aspesi brand. In 2011, the ‘Piccino’ feather waistcoat was created as a kids' version of the iconic 1992 Piuma waistcoat, immediately becoming a big hit with young people in the 1990s and early 2000s. Its puffed, cropped and fitted design became a real trend, turning into Aspesi's best seller today.

Mod.C shirt

In 1985, the “C” shirt was born, made of Japanese chambray cotton, inspired by a US Navy model from the 1940s. Originally a workwear item worn by sailors, workers, farmers and prisoners, by the 1960s it had become a sportswear classic. Aspesi produces it using only authentic and original fabrics, remaining true to its heritage and timeless design.

Chambray Shirt

The Chambray shirt is a historic model of the Aspesi wardrobe, an evolution of the classic Italian collar with straight and open points, but with a soft construction. Suitable for any occasion, both formal and informal, it can be worn perfectly ironed or even just washed, with a naturally creased effect.

Banana Trousers

The timeless and classic chino completes the men's iconic range. It is a reinterpretation of the #SLIM BANANA GENERATION 1996, with back/patch edit by Alberto. The two-pleat fit in slack balance cotton combines American leisure attitude with Milanese mix. The patch on the back pocket is inspired by Alberto Aspesi's custom repair of his beloved time-worn banana slim.
