SILENZIO. It is a pivotal expression of Aspesi's philosophy born by chance in 1999, from the friendship between Alberto Aspesi and Robert Frank (1924-2019 Swiss artist naturalised American,
photographer and film maker, exponent of the beat generation and considered one of the founding fathers of New American cinema). Following a
conversation in which Robert expressed his admiration for this Italian word, its sound and meaning, Alberto had a t-shirt made to give to his friend. That day, an icon was born that powerfully expressed Aspesi's discreet charm.

It was created in 1992 and immediately became a distinctive element for the Aspesi brand. In 2011, the ‘Piccino’ feather waistcoat was created as a kids' version of the iconic 1992 Piuma waistcoat, immediately becoming a big hit with young people in the 1990s and early 2000s. Its puffed, cropped and fitted design became a real trend, turning into Aspesi's best seller today.

The CE36 shirt is a historical model of the Aspesi wardrobe, an evolution of the classic Italian collar with straight open points, but with a soft construction. Suitable for any occasion, whether formal or informal, it can be worn perfectly pressed or even just washed, with a naturally creased effect.
Mod. C
1985 saw the birth of the ‘C’ shirt, made of Japanese chambray cotton, inspired by a 1940s US Navy model. Originally a workwear item worn by sailors, labourers, farmers and prisoners, by the 1960s it had become a sportswear classic. Aspesi produces it using only authentic and original fabrics, remaining true to its heritage and timeless design.
