Plant artist. Born and raised in Tokyo before moving to New York. Since 2017, he has been based in Milan and hosts us in his atelier on Viale Coni Zugna. His life mission is to transform the way people interpret and relate to plants. Overseeing store direction in Tokyo, New York, and Milan, Kawamoto is a designer who works across a wide range of genres. He works not only with greenery but also with interior styling. "I'm never comfortable in overly perfect settings. I prefer to add imperfections, dare with wild scenography. If I feel like trying something new, I do it without overthinking."
